Rowly: Orders to Notion, a Shopify app by LMB Technology, Fort Myers, Florida. Last updated October 13, 2026.

Rowly does one thing: it writes the orders of your Shopify store into a table in your own Notion workspace, and keeps that table up to date. This page says exactly what the app reads, where it writes it, and what it keeps on its own server.

What the app reads from your store

Through Shopify, with the read_orders permission you grant at install: each order's number, date, payment and fulfillment status, total and currency, the items and quantities, tags, the order note, and the order's id. The app reads the customer's name and email only if you turn on the option “Include the customer's name and email” in the app's settings. It is off by default. The app never reads addresses, phone numbers, or payment details.

Where it writes

Into the Notion table the app created in the page you chose, in your Notion workspace, using the Notion token you pasted. That table is yours: Notion's own terms and privacy policy apply to it, you can edit or delete any row, and the app never reads it back except to update a row it created.

What the app keeps on its own server

Order contents, customer names and emails are not stored on the app's server. They pass through it on the way to Notion and are not kept.

Where and how it is stored

On a server hosted by Fly.io in the United States, on an encrypted disk, reachable only over HTTPS. One person at LMB Technology has access, with a password-protected account. There are no separate copies of customer data.

How long

For as long as the app is installed. When you uninstall it, the app stops writing at once and, within 48 hours when Shopify sends its data-removal request, deletes everything it holds about your store. If you press “Disconnect Notion” in the app, the Notion token and the order-to-row mapping are deleted immediately. Rows already in your Notion table stay there, because they are yours.

Customer requests

When Shopify forwards a customer's request to see or erase their data, the app handles it automatically: for an erasure, the rows for that customer's orders are moved to the trash in your Notion table and the mapping is deleted. For a data request there is nothing to hand over from the app's server, since it keeps no customer data; your Notion table is the only copy and you can export it.

What the app does not do

Billing

The subscription is billed by Shopify on your Shopify invoice. The app never sees a card.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the app tells you on its home page. Questions, or a request to delete your data sooner than the automatic 48 hours: hello@lmbtechnology.com.
